The Business Profile Binder came into being as a result of input from our clients who had recently gone through a survey by State, JCAHO or CHAP. Some of the Administrators identified the problem of not being able to find key components of business information that the surveyors were asking to see, e.g., Articles of Incorporation, TAX I.D, Management listing etc. As you can imagine, asking the surveyor to wait until an owner returns to look through the trunk of his/ her car for a copy of the NPI # is probably not the most professional appearance an agency can portray.
